While friends and family may provide much needed back-up in many areas, only other parents of children with special needs can offer emotional understanding. Although our children my have different needs, the same emotional struggle is shared. Come connect with other parents who can offer understanding. Emotional support can make it easier to experience the joy that comes from parenting a child with special needs.

Bring your child. We have a fun afternoon planned for them as well!

R.S.V.P to debbie@lollipopkidsfoundation.org

All we need is the number of people in your party. Please specify how many children so we will have enough supplies/volunteers.

We are introducing the Lollipop Kids Foundation and you are cordially invited to attend.
Lollipop Kids is a foundation that serves children with special needs. Some of our services will include respite days, support groups and an equipment closet. We are in the start-up phase and want to hear what needs some of you may have. We want the Lollipop Kids Foundation to meet needs that we may not have even thought of yet.

Please bring your entire family to this event. The goal of this gathering is to share the goals of
Lollipop Kids Foundation and to meet one another, share networking ideas, and plan future
events to meet the needs of the families. There will be plenty for the kids to do! We are
collecting “wishes” for our website. If you or anyone you know has a specific need that is not
being met, please bring all the information with you. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Please feel free to extend this invitation to anyone who is interested.

Please feel free to bring along any outgrown or unused equipment/supplies. This includes
medical supplies, positioning devices, orthotics, feeding supplies, or things you have found
helpful in day to day life.

When: October 24, 2009

Where: 25001 Johnson Farm Drive Gaithersburg, MD 20882

Time: 1pm – 4pm

Please R.S.R.P. by email to debbie@lollipopkidsfoundation.org.
All we need to know is how many are in your party.

Any questions please call Laura Money 240-223-7004 or Debbie Sahlin 202-365-1160.

What if the Lollipop Kids Foundation earned a donation every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online helped to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs? Well, now it can!

GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy’s and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you can make an impact on the lives of children with special needs. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Lollipop Kids Foundation as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!
